BULAWAYO – Chicken Inn have wasted no time in preparing for the 2027 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season, with the Gamecocks securing the signature of exciting winger Michael Orton Tambo.
The 18-year-old joins from Southern Region Division One side Njube Spurs, where he has been one of the standout performers in the Pacific Breeze Southern Region Division One Soccer League this season
Tambo is regarded as one of the most exciting prospects in the lower division, known for his pace and trickery on the flank.
Meanwhile, the Gamecocks are also keeping tabs on another highly-rated 18-year-old winger, Chivandire from Hwange. The talented youngster is reportedly attracting interest from FC Platinum and Highlanders, with Chicken Inn also in the race for his signature.
The Bulawayo giants are also monitoring the situation of a Megawatt midfielder as they look to bolster their squad for next season.
Chicken Inn are expected to make more additions in the coming weeks as they aim to assemble a competitive side for the 2027 campaign.
